Why is my website called “semicolon”?

ˈsemēˌkōlən | noun
a punctuation mark (;) indicating a pause, typically between two main clauses, that is more pronounced than that indicated by a comma.
Because I drink my coffee out of a mug like this and content folks are over-thinkers. I can’t be the only one who pauses when I see this mark.
And, I bet you didn’t know that there’s a raging debate (about 2.9 million results) among word nerds concerning the use of semicolons in writing.
